Description- Probably the most popular run around ucla. Pretty much a loop around the whole campus. The run has a mix of trail and cement.
Description- Easy terrain in shady areas, mostly downhill.
Description- Head east on sunset and run through some nice residental area. Then loop back on whilshire and come back up westwood.
Description- Go down Montana and hit some residental streets, then run up the Acari triple hill then down sunset and loop back via VA center.
Descripiton- A pretty hill run, around the bel air area right above ucla.
Description - Hilly along Sunset Blvd., but shady down Veteran on the way to the finish. Actually feels a bit shorter than 6 miles, probably because the Veteran route is an easy downhill.
Description- Take Sunset down to Beverly Glen and turn right. Then turn right again onto Charing Cross, run a short distance and turn left onto Loring. Make a left on Warner until you reach that church on the corner of Wilshire. Turn around and go back from whence you came, but make sure to turn right when reaching Comstock. Go down one straightaway of Holmby Park and then cross the street lights at Wilshire. Continue on Comstock for a short bit and make a sharp right turn onto Ashton. Take Ashton until you reach a dead end, so turn right onto Malcolm. Cross the street light at Wilshire and turn left on Lindrook. Take this familiar street to Westwood Village and back to UCLA.
Description- Head east on sunset, then go up north up stone canyon rd. Some really nice houses in the bel air area. Uphill the whole way with a giant hill at the end of the run.
Description- Run along Sunset past Stone Canyon and Hilgard. Sunset then goes downhill to Beverly Glen, where you make a right turn towards Holmby Park. Go around that park until you reach the traffic lights at Beverly Glen and Comstock. Continue down Comstock towards Loring, where you turn left. At Warner, turn left (there's a children's school on that corner) until you see Wilshire. Cross the traffic light and keep going straight -- it'll be a small uphill and a moderately-long downhill. Turn left on Thayer, then turn right onto Santa Monica Blvd. Go straight until you cross Westwood and see Midvale. Turn right on Midvale, then left onto Ohio and right onto Veteran. Go down Veteran and you'll pass a small park and the Federal Building to your left. At Wilshire, make a right towards Westwood Village and back to UCLA.
Description- Extremely easy, totally flat path. Virtually impossible to get lost since you go straight down Veteran...cross Pico Blvd. and cross a railroad track. Then you circle around a little neighborhood and return from whence you came. *You'll mostly be running through quiet residential areas.
Description- This run starts out similar to Acari except you head south on church street, then go through the VA center towards San Vincente blvd. The street is nice because you can run in the middle of the road where there is a large patch of grass that goes all the way to the beach.
Description- This run is similar to the San Vincente, except that you do a loop around this golf course. The golf course is nice because of this tiny trail that goes around it, usually pretty popular too.
Description- Probably the closest real trail that is runable from ucla. The run is uphill the whole way and there is a few really tough hills, but the climb is worth it.
Description- Nice run through the beverly hill area. There is a small patch of dirt/ trail on santa monica blvd. Just follow that trail until it ends then loop back on residental streets.
Description- This is a tough run, start at 446 ft and ascend up to 1526 ft.
